If you are interested in joining the Warner’s Nursery Team\, be part of our annual Hiring Draft on Saturday\, March 9 from 10 am to Noon. \nAll positions are for our retail garden center only. \nHere’s how you can apply:\n1. Fill out our application. You can download it HERE. Complete it and bring it with you to the hiring draft. Please DO NOT drop it off prior to the hiring draft. Resumes and/or cover letters are welcome\, but our application must be completed. \n2. Come to our Hiring Draft ready to work. Please wear appropriate footwear and outdoor work clothing. Be ready to participate in activities directly related to the positions we will be hiring for. The Hiring Draft is like a tryout\, so come prepared to shine\, have fun and work hard! \nAfter completion of the draft\, a number of individuals will be called back for interviews. \nJob Requirements: \n\nYou must be available to work at least 24- 40 hours a week from March through July.\nYou must have full availability (no time off requests) during May and June and must be able to work Memorial Day and Mother’s Day.\nNo facial piercings or visible tattoos.\nClothing must be professional and clean daily.\nYou must be able to regularly lift 30-50 lbs.\nYou must be comfortable working on your feet.\nMost of the work at the nursey is outdoors\, so that means working in all types of weather (hot\, cold and sometimes rain). It can also get very warm in the nursery and hothouses.\nYou must be able to work in adverse conditions with a positive attitude.\n\nWe look forward to seeing you at this year’s Hiring Draft!
