4/26: Beautification Efforts
Spring is here and we’ve been helping several groups make Flagstaff a little more beautiful. We’ve recently donated plants to the Boy Scouts so they could beautify the Thomas Elementary School campus. We’ve also donated materials for an NAU student project for beautifying the Boy & Girls Club.
2/22: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff
The Warner’s team had a blast at the annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff. Since 1967, BBBS has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. To foster that success, they make meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (known as “Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18, in Flagstaff and Williams. You can learn more about them, give them your support or volunteer by going to their website flagstaffbigs.org.
1/14:Â High Country Humane
Those of you who know us are aware of how much we love our animals, so it will come as no surprise that Warner’s Nursery is a big fan and supporter of Paw Placement of Northern Arizona. Their latest venture, High Country Humane, opened its doors this month as the official shelter for the City of Flagstaff and Coconino County. You can check out what they are doing (and see what doggies and kitties are available for adoption) at their website: highcountryhumane.org.
12/17:Â Supporting M3F Festival
Warner’s Nursery & Landscaping is proud to announce our sponsorship of M3F Music Fest, Arizona’s 100% non-profit music festival. M3F has donated more than $1 million to Arizona charities since it began in 2004. This year the festival will benefit be Phoenix Children’s Hospital’s Music Therapy Program, which brings hope and healing through music to the patients of Phoenix Children’s Hospital. This year’s festival will be held in downtown Phoenix on March 1-3. For more information and tickets: www.m3ffest.com.
12/12:Â Donation Benefits NPA Basketball Team
They shoot, they score! Northland Prep’s boys’ basketball team netted a $2500 donation from Warner’s Nursery this past weekend. Part of the donation came from the sale of holiday trees this past weekend. Thanks to the players who came out to help stock trees and load them onto customers’ cars. You’re the best! Go Spartans!
Warner’s Nursery is a family-owned business that’s been in Arizona since 1970. Our roots are deep in the community and we feel fortunate to have raised our families and grown our business here. Because of that, we know how important it is to support the organizations that make Flagstaff and the surrounding area such a great place to live. From schools and churches to sports teams and shelters, Warner’s Nursery is contributing to more than 40 local organizations this year. Please consider supporting one or more of the groups that make up the Warner’s Giving Tree and are so dear to our hearts.
Thank you!
