Root Camp: Being Firewise

Learn to create survivable space, utilizing best landscape practices to slow the spread of a wildfire toward your home. Our in-house experts and a representative from APS will discuss how fire spreads, the three “zones” surrounding one’s house, how to maintain survivable space, and how to ultimately stop the spread of a wildfire using landscaping/xeriscaping techniques.

Each Root Camp class is $10 (plus fees), but for each class you attend, you’ll receive a $10 certificate that can be redeemed for plants and gardening products at Warner’s.
