Natural Guard is a brand from the Ferti-lome family of products.
Diatomaceous Earth is made from the fossilized remains of tiny, aquatic organisms called diatoms. Their skeletons are made of a natural substance called silica—which makes up 26% of the Earth’s crust by weight.
The insecticide works by causing abrasions on insects as they come in contact with product. It’s digestible by earthworms, however, and does not cause them any harm. This insecticide is very effective in controlling snails and slugs in bedding plant areas and around houses, as well as cockroaches, ants, earwigs and other crawling insects.
